Picture Pages - Company Update
During this 3rd quarter of 2007 things have really been coming together. You can now see the laser engraved frames being offered by the "Picture Pages" Company that offers everything you need to show off and enjoy your memories on the wall where they are convenient.
We are making strides with having Picture Pages carried by some of the better known scrapbook and craft stores. Whilst we will always offer the high quality version of "Picture Pages" that started this company, we are also starting to see some lower quality and lower priced competition. We welcome all competition, as it is just further validation of the customer needs that we are meeting!
We now realize that a lot of crafty people or croppers do not necessarily like to take the time to assemble their Picture Pages albums themselves. So, now when you order your "Picture Pages" with a frame you will receive it from us already mounted on the frame. So, once you have taken it out of the packaging, all you have to do is decorate and display your "Picture Pages".
Please feel free to send any suggestions that you think might help other customers enjoy their "Picture Pages" even more!
Please also feel free and invited to send us photos of your "Picture Pages", showing how and where you display them (home or office, living room or reception or deck or basement). We have also recently launched online Picture Pages gift certificates - which you can print out to put in a gift card ...just in time for the Holiday season. The online provider of the gift cards is PayPal so there is no safer way to do this, and they accept all major credit cards! You know that your friends and family would LOVE to have a Picture Pages album (or two) in their home and you know that they will want to pick out the exact frame and accessories for themselves - then get them a gift certificate!
We are now offering a new way for customers to purchase their Picture Pages albums, frames and accessories. Through our new partnership with eLayaway.

Now that we have been working with and on "Picture Pages" for a couple of years, we have found numerous uses for the product and ways of customizing that we never even thought about in the infancy stages of developing this product. We thought that we would share some of these with you:
In one case we had a customer that was setting up her layouts and she thought it would look nice to outline the layouts with a gold marker. Yes it's a simple idea, but it really accentuated and highlighted her wedding photos where she had mounted them on the pages.
We have also realized that most embellishments like graduation hats, tassels or other decorations are thin enough to not interfere with the magnets holding the pages in place ...and in some cases, as I have done, you can even decorate the frame itself.
We are now in the process of re-doing our wedding album – putting it into a Picture Pages so that it will be displayed in the living room near where we have the television. We are thinking that we will do it with a laser inscribed frame showing the date of the wedding; I am tired of the original (very expensive) album just sitting there closed up on top of the cabinets in the living room; that was a great day for the entire family and we love sharing the photos and stories with all of the people that were there with us that day.

Some customers have replaced the single photos in frames, that they had lining the walls as you go up the stairs at home, with "Picture Pages" - it makes it a lot easier to keep those pictures updated or keep many photos in one area. My mother did something similar - she put hers in her hallway where you come in from the garage. She has one "Picture Pages" for each of our families and she mounted some of them vertically and some horizontally …there are five of us siblings and we all have children so using Picture Pages this way cleared out a lot of clutter for her!
I have a couple of Picture Pages mounted on the wall in my basement, one depicts all of the upgrades I have done in our home, finishing the basement, landscaping changes, building our deck, and updating our swimming pool. These are projects where I love to show off the “before” and “after” pictures with pride.
Another Picture Pages mounted on a wall in the basement is of our houseboat vacations that we have taken over the years. Vacation memories are supposed to stay visible and available …so we remember why we go to work!

Until recently we had been encountering some challenges in figuring out how to get people to search for "Picture Pages" on the internet. Within the past 60 days we have noticed a very large increase in visitors coming to the site from Google, MSN, Yahoo and other search engines, by using the search phrases "photo display for the wall", "wall album", "wall display", and other similar phrases. This means we have got the timing right in bringing Picture Pages to the market as we originally thought we had. We have created a product that can affordably fulfill the wants of today’s buyers and we have done it in a very durable, safe, and convenient way.
Here at Picture Pages LLC we want to remind you that, when you open your Picture Pages box, all you need is a screwdriver and about 10 to 15 minutes to get your album ready to use. Now, to keep things even more simple there are even video instructions available on the home web-site to walk you through the assembly. This is a product designed for home or office, man or woman, child or adult, collector or photographer, as a gift for you or them ...well, you get the picture!
This is still a relatively new product that we are sure we will all see in one form or another in 90% of the households over the next 5 years. This is not a fad like the "pet rock". Picture Pages lets you put your photos and pictures where you can enjoy them and share them on a daily basis.
We have all seen the larger companies starting to bring photo frames into the homes that electronically run a slide show on your wall. Well, that is a great thought and it is becoming very affordable. The shortcoming that we see with those is the fact that they just don't offer the versatility or allow us to interact with the photos the way that Picture Pages does.

Picture Pages - Product History
When we originally designed "Picture Pages" we considered things like gluing or somehow attaching the magnets to the pages. Then we realized how we would feel if our child or pet choked on a magnet or screw that came loose from a page - that is why you see the magnets molded into the pages along with the screws, this is the type of thought we want you to understand we were concerned with.
Some people said we over-built these units ...you could actually hang by your arms on one that is mounted on the wall (although we don't recommend that or warranty it for that). We built them this way, because we know how it feels to spend hours working on decorating a page and then having it get ruined by falling off the wall and onto the floor ...where it got dirty, crumpled or where a pet got to it first.
We also want you to know that when we send a Picture Pages album out, we try to make sure it arrives the way that it is supposed to. When ordered with a frame, we now pre-attach the frame to the completely assembled Picture Pages album and ship it to you so all you have to do is decorate your pages and then either attach it to your wall or put it on the mobile display easel.
Taking this additional step in convenience for our customers caused us to learn how to package Picture Pages properly when framed (something that we had not had to do before). The lesson started when we had a call from a customer that had ordered her album online from us. We thought that we had done a nice job packaging things up when we shipped the order off to her. Then, when it arrived, she let us know that it had turned up damaged. [Eeek!] That is when we invested in packaging materials better suited to shipping an album fully assembled and mounted in a frame. Then we sent her replacement at no charge, including the shipping. Thankfully that was the first and last incident of this problem!
We are a company that understands that we will learn by our mistakes and we take pride in the fact that our customers do not pay for our mistakes. So far we have not made the same mistake twice!
